Upbit Integrates CFX as Conflux Expands into Korean Market

Upbit Lists Conflux’s CFX Token

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced the listing of Conflux’s CFX token against the Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT). This listing is set to commence at 16:00 Korea Standard Time (KST) on July 31, 2026.

Trading and Market Conditions

Three trading pairs will be available: CFX/KRW, CFX/BTC, and CFX/USDT. Prior to the launch, CFX had seen an 8.5% increase in value, with a trading volume nearing $13 million. However, it is important to note that deposits and withdrawals will only be supported through the Conflux eSpace network, potentially impacting asset recovery for users who send tokens through unsupported networks.

Initial Trading Regulations

Upon trading initiation, Upbit will place restrictions on buy orders for the first five minutes, and sell orders priced more than 10% below the previous closing price will also face limitations. Only limit orders will be accepted in the first two hours of trading, which is designed to manage the market volatility as CFX begins trading on the platform.

Market Reactions and Future Outlook

The CFX token was trading at approximately $0.0452 just before the Upbit launch, experiencing a notable daily volume increase of about 93%. While past listings on Upbit have led to mixed market reactions, traders are advised to monitor whether the initial interest translates into sustained demand for CFX. The introduction of CFX in the KRW market is significant, allowing local users to trade directly without the need to convert their funds into other cryptocurrencies.

Conflux eSpace and Network Clarification

For the listing to proceed smoothly, users must ensure compliance with South Korean regulations regarding wallet addresses. During the initial trading phase, the exchange will gauge the balance between Korean demand and the available CFX supply.
