H100 Group has officially appointed Peter C. Warren as its new chief investment officer following its recent acquisition of 2,455 Bitcoin. This significant move positions Warren to oversee the company’s derivatives and risk management strategies. The appointment aligns with H100’s strategy to enhance its existing Bitcoin treasury, which has nearly tripled due to this acquisition.

Strategic Acquisition and Treasury Expansion

On August 10, 2026, H100 completed the acquisition of Norwegian investment company NSD, which owns Moonshot and PDI. This transaction raised H100’s Bitcoin treasury from approximately 1,051 BTC to 3,506.4 BTC. The acquisition was conducted through an issuance of new shares, thus diluting current shareholding by about 70% but leaving basic sats per share unchanged.

Warren’s Role and Experience

With over 45 years of experience in capital markets covering trading, market making, and fund management, Warren’s expertise will be pivotal in developing H100’s derivatives investments. He previously managed about 2,450 BTC in collaboration with H100’s CEO, Eirik Grøttum.

Upcoming Shareholder Meeting

The board has called for an extraordinary general meeting on August 28, 2026, where shareholders will vote on Warren’s appointment and the addition of three other new directors. Warren presently holds 2,472,692 shares in H100 and is seen as linked to both company management and major shareholders due to his roles.

Warren plans to advance H100’s treasury strategy while maintaining exposure to Bitcoin’s long-term potential.
