Blueprint Finance Secures Funding from BitGo and FalconX in Polychain-led Round

Blueprint Finance Secures Funding from Prominent Investors

Blueprint Finance has successfully completed a strategic funding round led by Polychain Capital, aimed at enhancing its on-chain vault infrastructure known as Concrete. The funding round attracted several notable participants, including BitGo, FalconX, and Bullish, among others.

Investment to Enhance Concrete Infrastructure

On August 19, Blueprint Finance announced that the funding will support the growth and development of its Concrete platform. Concrete is designed as full-stack infrastructure for institutions, protocols, and asset managers, allowing for the execution, accounting, rebalancing, and risk controls within a single vault system. The architecture aims to streamline operational tasks associated with managing capital across various DeFi protocols.

Expanding the Concrete Ecosystem

In addition to Concrete, Blueprint Finance is also working on expanding its ecosystem through new products, AssetCX and concUSD. These products are part of the broader strategy to integrate and develop new on-chain assets and financial instruments.

Key Features of Concrete

The Concrete infrastructure is intended to provide professional allocators with essential tools such as:

  • Auditable accounting
  • Defined operational permissions
  • Scalable execution
  • Transparent risk controls

Blueprint Finance’s CEO, Nic Roberts-Huntley, highlighted that the evolution of DeFi requires a shift from merely seeking high yields to implementing robust operational controls and risk management.

Significant Backing from Industry Leaders

The strategic funding round included participation from various firms with substantial expertise in the digital asset market. Alongside Polychain Capital, other investors included Keyrock, G-20, Flowdesk, JPEG Trading, Sentient Capital, Andes, and 2Square.

BitGo and FalconX’s Involvement

BitGo has enhanced its infrastructure to help institutions access DeFi markets, while FalconX is renowned for its trading and liquidity services. Both companies’ participation underlines the significance of institutional-grade solutions in the growing landscape of decentralized finance.

Conclusion

With the strategic funding secured, Blueprint Finance is poised to advance its infrastructure and product offerings, aiming to meet the increasing demands of institutional clients in the evolving crypto market. As the DeFi sector matures, solutions like Concrete will play a crucial role in shaping the future of capital management for asset allocators.
