According to blockchain data provided by Arkham, this operation spanned several transactions over three hours. Previous actions by Metaplanet have shown similar trends; the firm shifted nearly 5,000 BTC back in March in a comparable manner, seen as internal custody restructuring rather than liquidation.

Metaplanet has accumulated around 43,000 BTC at an average purchase price of around $96,000. With Bitcoin trading at its current price, the company faces an unrealized loss of approximately $1.4 billion, equating to a 34% decline in value.
