Greenlane Reports $16.4M BERA Treasury Value, Down 76.6% in Q2

Greenlane’s BERA Treasury Suffers Significant Decline

Greenlane Holdings has reported a sharp decline in the fair value of its BERA-focused digital asset treasury, which has fallen to $16.4 million at the end of the second quarter. This marks a staggering 76.6% decrease from its initial $70 million cost basis.

Quarterly Losses and Asset Growth

The company’s latest financial disclosures indicate that as of June 30, Greenlane held approximately 81.3 million BERA and equivalent tokens, an increase from 77.7 million at the end of March. Despite this increase in holdings, Greenlane recorded a $19.1 million noncash fair value loss on its digital assets and a larger net loss of $24.8 million for the quarter.

Market Performance of BERA

As of the end of Q2, BERA’s trading value had dropped by 75.9% year to date, trading near $0.146. Greenlane’s portfolio valuation loss stemmed from the token’s significant price decline, which had previously seen BERA trading above $1.20 in early 2026. The asset has been experiencing volatility since February due to market fluctuations.

Operational Strategies Amid Falling Prices

Throughout this period of declining valuations, Greenlane has engaged in various operational strategies to manage its digital asset portfolio. The company has generated approximately $309,000 in staking and yield revenue from its activities in the Berachain ecosystem, despite the overall downturn in asset values. Greenlane’s digital asset strategy includes participation in staking and liquidity provisioning, which has contributed to maintaining its holdings.

Historical Context and Future Outlook

Entering the crypto treasury space in October 2025, Greenlane transitioned from a cannabis accessories company to a public holder of Berachain’s native token following a significant financing round. With support from digital asset investors, the company aimed to bolster its position in BERA via market purchases and staking.

However, the drop in token price and subsequent valuation has emphasized the need for Greenlane to carefully navigate its digital asset investments while continuing to operate its legacy lifestyle accessory business.
