XRP Price Steady at $1 as Whale Inflows Plummet to 2021 Lows

XRP Price Holds Steady at $1

The price of XRP has stabilized around the $1 mark, despite whale transfers to Binance declining to their lowest levels since 2021. This drop in whale inflows has raised questions about whether a price rebound is on the horizon.

Current Market Overview

As of the latest update, XRP has lost approximately 3.2% over the last week, trading near $1.00. Reportedly, the three-month average of XRP whale inflows to Binance has fallen to about $61 million, significantly lower than $456 million in January 2025 and $355 million in October 2025. Current inflows are now six to eight times lower than the highs seen last year, indicating reduced selling pressure.

Although this significant decline in whale activity is viewed positively by some analysts, it does not guarantee a bullish trend. Darkfost, a contributor to CryptoQuant, noted that fewer token deposits into exchanges typically suggest that fewer tokens are immediately available for sale, yet cautioned that a true bullish reversal requires fresh buying pressure.

Technical Indicators and Market Sentiment

XRP’s trading momentum remains weak. The daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) is positioned at 36.02, below the average signal of 39.21, indicating a lack of buying momentum, though it remains above the common oversold mark of 30. Furthermore, the four-hour MACD has shown some early signs of improvement.

The daily price chart illustrates XRP trading beneath the Bollinger Bands’ 20-day middle line at $1.0446, suggesting that sellers currently dominate the market. A decline below the lower Bollinger Band at $0.9866 could further jeopardize the $1 support level.

Potential for Recovery?

For XRP to find recovery, it must first reclaim the Bollinger middle line, aiming for targets beyond $1.045. The immediate resistance lies near $1.024, and a breakout above this level could lead to further upward momentum. However, without increased buying activity, any movement toward recovery may prove temporary.

Liquidation Clusters and Market Dynamics

According to data from CoinGlass, significant liquidation clusters are situated around $1.01, with larger concentrations appearing between $1.02 and $1.03. The price tends to gravitate towards these areas, suggesting that a rebound may lead to short liquidations triggering above these levels. Conversely, if XRP drops below $1, the price could fall to the zone between $0.98 and $0.99.

Conclusion

Despite the positive implications of falling whale inflows, the overall bearish structure of the market suggests that XRP needs substantial demand to initiate a genuine and lasting recovery. As it stands, XRP remains at a critical juncture, and whether it can break through resistance levels will depend on upcoming trading activity.
